The state enterprise of Defense Ministry of Ukraine “Chuguev aircraft repair Plant” was established in 1938. It has advanced the way from aircraft works to a modern powerful plant.

Over the years of its operation the enterprise has repaired hundreds of aircraft and air-engines. Since 1975 they have been repairing the famous MiGs, L-39 and air-engines M-701c500. By the year of 1999 Chuguev specialists had performed overhaul and recovery of 10 planes L-39 for Air Force of Ukraine. A number of customers from Bulgaria, China, Poland, Iran, Libya, Syria, Algeria and Cuba asked for the service of the Ukrainian aircraft repair enterprise.

Today having all the necessary facilities as well as skilled personnel Chuguev aircraft repair Plant is able to perform overhaul of planes L-29, L-39 and MiG-23 of all modifications and air-engines M-701c500 as well as overhaul and recovery of auxiliary power unit “Sapfir” and ejection device AKU-58.

Accurate structural and technological organization of the enterprise, modern facilities and quality control for all production stages allows them to carry out accredited aircraft repair.

The Plant has the following main departments: seven specialized shops and the Central Plant Laboratory. The appropriate division system for technological stages of repair between the main departments of the Plant allows it not only to effectively use its capacity but also to reduce expenses for aircraft repair.

Besides its main activity the enterprise also provides the following services:

• supplies spare parts for the planes and engines;
  provides maintenance of a plane and engine during the guaranteed operational period;
• manufactures equipment for delivering planes by air or surface transport of a customer;
• repairs aggregates of a plane and engine;
• provides training for a customer’s specialists in operating rules;
• produces equipment for land maintenance (general and special use) for planes of all types;
• performs modernization of a plane and equipment according to a customer’s desire;
• provides consulting services relating to aircraft repair  on the base of a customer;
• provides a customer with repair and maintenance documentation in four languages (Russian, English, French and Spanish).  

The potential of Chuguev aircraft repair Plant allows them to increase the volume of repair services for planes MiG-23 and L-39 and also to perform their future modernization.
