What are the mattresses of «Velam» notable for? All the working in Ukraine producers of spring beds use the same bottom of mattresses - a spring block consisted of springs of «bonnel» type. The quality of the whole mattress depends exactly on this «bottom». «Velam» uses only an Italian spring with high resilience and optimal residual deformation. As a covering meant to neutralize a sense of spring and heighten inflexibility of a mattress, «Velam» uses the Italian thermopressed felts, which serve as a «filter».
In the mattress production of «Velam» it is used an absolutely new, unique by its qualities laying material «Sprut» made of chemically inert, anelectric, not causing an allergy and so environmentally safe polyester fiber. «Sprut» is made by way of heat fixing at gigh temperature. Owing to this technology, which was mastered for the first time in the CIS only by «Velam», it is possible to obtain the material, which possesses the unique properties: it is air-penetrable and hygroscopic resilient and light at the same time, possesses sound absorbing and heat-reflecting properties. In the capacity of addings the enterprise uses: horsehair, goat’s hair, grass-wrack, the fibers of virgin fleece, cotton and flax. It gives an opportunity to produce the overlays with thermoregulating effect «winter-summer».
The beautiful quilted cases with a lining owing to the manual assembling perfectly fit the mattresses. And a zipper along the perimeter of a mattress is a speciality of these mattresses.
